Report of the Coal Fired Power Plant Evaluation Task Force
NOW AVAILABLE for download is the 32-page report of the Coal Fired Power Plant Evaluation Task Force created by Mayor Jerry Treñas to study the plans of the project proponent, Panay Power Corporation and its partner Formosa Heavy Industries (FHI) of Taiwan.
The task force has unanimously approved and recommended for the establishment of a coal-fired plant here to address the power crisis in Iloilo City. The task force, in their report, said the establishment of a coal-fired power plant in the city will “benefit” the people of Iloilo City.
